Recycling is reusing an already made product. Most glass, plastic and paper is recyclable and reusable. You can use glass bowls more than once instead of throwing it out which damages the environment. Recycling is very important for the environment because some rubbish gets into forests and kills endangered animals. If we did not recycle the world would be a bin.
We must recycle before it is too late and we're going to give you three good reasons why.
Firstly recycling saves money. It actually costs more money to dispose of waste than does it to recycle. Recycling 1.5 million pounds of paper saves over $600,00 and also saves the printers over 16,000 dollars.
Secondly recycling reduces pollution. It reduces pollution of the air by 73% and pollution of the water by 35%. Recycled steel reduces 97% of mining waste. Landfills are also getting full which take up a lot of space and are very noisy some of the rubbish collected gets out and pollutes the ocean.
Lastly recycling slows global warming. Recycling slows global warming because the factories that process the natural materials produce fumes that go into the sky damaging the ozone layer. If we damage the ozone layer some people will not see the world like we see it and when they find out how beautiful the world was they will be devastated that people didn't treat the world properly.
We are fully convinced that recycling is necessary for the survival of our planet because it saves money, reduces pollution and also slows down global warming.
